Draft Effingham Conservation Area Appraisal Consultation

Guildford Borough Council has produced a Draft Effingham Conservation Area Appraisal. Conservation Area Appraisals define the character of Conservation Areas by identifying the special features, including buildings, trees and open spaces, which make an important contribution to them. Once adopted by the Council, the document will be a material consideration in the determination of planning applications, as well as being an aid to local residents and the wider community.

Consultation

The Draft Effingham Conservation Area Appraisal can be found below under 'Documents'. Paper copies will be available to view at the Council office main reception at Millmead and in Horsley and Guildford libraries (during usual opening hours) throughout the consultation period.

For information purposes, the Initial Consultation Statement is also available to view below. However, this does not form part of the consultation and comments on this document will not be accepted.

After the consultation we will publish your comment with your name, but will not publish personal details such as your email or postal address. We will not accept anonymous comments. We will also publish a final Consultation Statement identifying main issues raised and our response to these. The Draft Effingham Conservation Area Appraisal will then be amended as and taken to Executive for adoption.

The consultation will be open from 12:00 midday 27^th January to 12:00 midday 24^th February 2020. Comments submitted outside of this period will not be accepted.
