Effingham Neighbourhood Plan

Front PageProposal for a neighbourhood plan for Effingham

The Council designated the Effingham Neighbourhood Area (Effingham ward and parish) on 4 April 2013.

Effingham Parish Council has worked with the Effingham community and other stakeholders to produce the Effingham Neighbourhood Plan.

A neighbourhood plan is a document that contains planning policies for a single neighbourhood area. Adopted neighbourhood plans become part of the Development Plan for the borough and are used to determine planning applications within the neighbourhood area they cover, along with the Council's Local Plan and other considerations.

The neighbourhood plan can be found below under 'Consultation Documents'.

Consultation on the submitted Effingham Neighbourhood Plan ran from 20 Mar 2017 to 30 Apr 2017.

Copies of the representations received can be found below under 'Summary of Results'. The comments were provided to an independent examiner who examined the plan in June, July and August 2017.
